Enjoys the air it breathes!

Blazing Skies

“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.”

Trees

I think that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is prest
Against the earth's sweet flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in Summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

~Joyce Kilmer, "Trees," 1914

Places

How hard it is to escape from places. However carefully one goes they hold you - you leave little bits of yourself fluttering on the fences - like rags and shreds of your very life.

Reflections

"We cannot see our reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see."

Light

Alas! must it ever be so?
Do we stand in our own light, wherever we go,
And fight our own shadows forever?

A piece of the sky

The soft blue sky did never melt
Into his heart; he never felt
The witching of the soft blue sky!

- William Wordsworth, Peter Bell
